3 Foot tin plate and wood Vintage 1930s Sicilian Pupo Marionette Puppet Green

This vintage Italian marionette puppet is a true collector's item. With its tin plate and wood construction, it dates back to the 1930s and is a fine example of Sicilian craftsmanship.

As you would expect the cloth has some wear and small tears but it was actually used rather than been a ornament. There are 1 or2 pins missing and the original string but this easy to replace as i have but with new string. as you would expect also the tin plate has wear all over it as you can see in the pics but again this is around 90 years old so you would expect that.

I have the Green matching one that went with this in the shows up for sale too. I am Awaiting a handsteam cleaner coming and if it comes before the sale ends i will give the unifrom a quick steam clean.

This Puppet was an actual show puppet and did shows in Sicily a few years ago its not a copy made for holiday makers. Will make a nice conversation piece in your home. will post abroad if required.
